Spirit of Christmas
2025
The Spirit of Christmas is becoming one of our favorite traditions - and 2025 was extra special! This year, Spirit Within Her had the joy of blessing five amazing single moms and their children with a little extra cheer.
Each child received a wrapped toy picked just for them, and each mom was surprised with gifts designed to ease everyday stress and create special memories—gift cards for groceries, gas, and a fun night out with her family, plus a few extra treats along the way.
Our team gathered for a festive night of gift wrapping, laughter, music, and prayer as we prepared each gift with care and intention. The next morning, we delivered the gifts to the families, sharing smiles, hugs, and some truly unforgettable moments.
Spirit of Christmas is about more than presents—it’s about showing up, spreading joy, and reminding single moms that they are loved, supported, and never walking alone. We’re so grateful for our incredible team, volunteers, generous donors, and community partners who helped make this celebration one to remember.
Lift Her: Beyond the Backpacks 2025
Our first ever Beyond the Backpacks event was full of joy, care, and community connection. Families received lunchboxes, water bottles, socks, hygiene products, school snacks, bus passes, and more — all made possible by generous donors.
Highlights of the day included free kids’ haircuts from professional stylists, a fun photo booth, and a creative craft station, along with other activities that brought smiles to both kids and parents.
A special thank-you goes to the stylists who gave their time and talent, the salons who donated vouchers for moms, the donors who supported us, and to our amazing team and volunteers — your heart and hard work made the day unforgettable.
Together, we created more than an event — we created memories and encouragement for families as they step into a new season.

Bringing Joy to a Single Mom and Her Son
During Christmas of 2024, we had the privilege of supporting a single mother and her 6-year-old son, ensuring their holiday was filled with warmth, joy, and hope. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we provided them with a brand-new bed, toys, and stockings filled with both essentials and surprises. Seeing the excitement in her son’s eyes and the gratitude in her heart reminded us why we do what we do—offering hope and practical support to single mothers navigating life’s challenges.
This is just one story of how we’re making a difference. With your help, we can continue to bring light and encouragement to more families in need.
